NCNLA is committed to recognizing and rewarding future horticulture industry leaders. Horticultural educational opportunities are strong at the junior college and university level within our state.

The NCNLA Horticulture Scholarship is an opportunity for full-time students enrolled in 2 or 4-year horticulture programs in North Carolina to receive education financial assistance.

The NCNLA Scholarship identifies and rewards horticulture students who exemplify scholastic aptitude, positive attitude, and industry potential. Work experience within the industry, leadership ability, and financial need will all be considered by the Board of Directors when determining scholarship winners.

The Green Industry Grant Program was developed by the North Carolina Association of Nurserymen in 2002 to assist other North Carolina green industry groups with projects that would include, but not be limited to Education, Membership Development, and Marketing. NCNLA continues the program in its efforts to support its members and the industry.

The maximum grant amount request for 2010 is $5,000.00.
