GROWER ALERT: ELD MANDATE SET TO BE ENFORCDED DECEMBER 18
By December 18, 2017, all trucking fleets are required to fit an electronic logging device (ELD) within their vehicles in order to comply with new regulations from the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). Replacing the paper logs that have been traditionally used, this mandate is aimed at improving safety and making it easier to ensure drivers are not breaking the law by driving for over 14 hours in a 24-hour period.
In response to this upcoming mandate, NCNLA has created a resource page to deploy links & resources for members to gain all information necessary to prepare for the law going into effect December 2017.
