Two Industry Professionals Elected to 2017 NCNLA Board of Directors
Raleigh, NC – January 31, 2017 – At its 2017 Annual Meeting held during Green & Growin’ 17 in Greensboro, NC last week, the membership of the North Carolina Nursery & Landscape Association (NCNLA) elected two industry professionals to serve three-year terms on the NCNLA Board of Directors. New NCNLA Directors include:
Gant has about 25 years of experience in the green industry. After buying 15-20 acres of open land in the 1990’s, he built Gant’s nursery from the ground up; today they specialize in hard to find native plants. He has shared his knowledge as an active member of numerous industry organizations, including: Western Horticulture Alliance, Caldwell County Nurserymen Association and SCNLA.
Bass has been the Production Manager at Hawksridge Farms for the past 32 years, he oversees the growth of container trees and woody ornamentals, with a focus on introducing new
plants to the trade. He is a member of multiple industry groups, including: Wholesale Nursery Growers of America, Inc., SNA and the Perennial Plant Association.
