What is a NCNLA Honorary Member?

Generally a retired industry professional, an NCNLA Honorary Member is selected by the NCNLA Board of Directors in recognition for their lifetime contribution or achievement in the nursery and landscape industry. 

The Honorary Member receives free NCNLA membership for life, and free admittance to all NCNLA events.

Congratulations to Doug Clark, of C&G Nurseryrecipient of the Honorary Membership for 2015

Doug was recognized for his:

  • Dedication and service to the green industry since early childhood in the 1950s to today at the family‚Äôs over 1800 acre nursery.
  • His smart business tactics and willingness to adapt when he saw the need to diversify his nursery stock; he added more varieties of plants and also began a shipping company.
  • His commitment to growing quality trees and shrubs at C&G Nursery for over half a century, and willingness to take risks on the introduction of new plants and production practices.
